JJ Racaza Two Day Pistol Courses taking place at the Sharon Gun Club in Ontario, Canada. Located at 18255 Kennedy Rd. Sharon, ON L0G 1V0, Canada. The course will take place from 8am to 4pm each day (approximate, depends on the pace of the group). 

Two-Day Performance Shooting Course Overview

In this two-day course, you will learn the micro-level details required to become more efficient—not just faster—while maintaining a high level of accuracy and consistency.

Level 1 Course (C–GM)

Micro-Movement

  • Trigger control: Techniques for pulling the trigger faster while maintaining—or improving—accuracy and precision

  • Single-target breakdowns

  • Being present and mentally engaged

  • Calling your shots

  • Developing sensory awareness for instinctive shooting

  • Understanding the difference between shooting and movement

  • Rhythm and cadence fire

  • Visual patience

    • Many shooters attempt patience before developing proper shot mechanics, which leads to unnecessary delays

  • Multiple-target breakdowns

  • Flat-line vs. bump transitions

Prerequisites

  • Basic shooting knowledge and range experience required

  • Minimum of one year of competitive shooting experience

  • Understanding of firearm safety and range rules

  • No age requirement

  • Students must provide their own handgun

  • Ammunition requirement: approximately 500 rounds per day (1,000 total)

Required Equipment

Please bring the following:

  • Firearm

  • Minimum 1,000 rounds of ammunition

  • Weather-appropriate clothing

  • Eye and ear protection

  • Belt, holster, and magazine carriers

  • Lunch and drinks (Gatorade &water) will be provided.
